IPL ran a free health check-up camp for the villages around its plant, treating hundreds of patients at no cost and providing free medicines. The camp was conducted with a visiting physician's team from a local medical centre (reported in the Hindi press; translated here).
Alongside the general camp, a mobile eye-care unit screened patients for vision problems and referred those needing specialist care, and IPL distributed wheelchairs to people with mobility needs under its CSR programme. The company also inaugurated a water purifier at the Bayang school so children there have safe drinking water.

The camps brought basic healthcare and screening to households that often travel far to reach it, and reflect IPL's focus on community health in the villages near the plant.
