Last reviewed · 30 June 2026 · Version 1.0 · Effective on publication
Draft · pending legal reviewInland Power Ltd. is committed to making inlandpower.in usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we work to, the measures we have taken, the limitations we are aware of, and how to reach us if something is not accessible to you.
01Our commitment
We want every visitor (government officials, vendors and members of the public) to be able to find information and reach the right desk regardless of ability or device. Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining the site, not as an afterthought, and we aim to improve it over time.
02Conformance target
We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This is a target we are building against; the site is not yet formally audited against every criterion.
03Measures we have taken
In building this site we have aimed to:
- use semantic HTML (landmarks, headings, lists and labelled forms) so the page structure is clear to screen readers;
- support keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and no keyboard traps;
- honour the “reduce motion” system setting, so animations are stilled for visitors who prefer less movement;
- maintain readable text contrast against a restrained, high-contrast palette, and avoid conveying meaning by colour alone;
- keep the layout responsive, so content reflows and remains usable when zoomed or viewed on smaller screens.
04Known limitations
We are aware of areas that do not yet fully meet our target. We are working to address them:
- some published documents (PDFs, for example tender notices, reports and certificates) are placeholders or have not yet been remediated for tagged reading order and may not be fully accessible;
- content embedded from third parties, such as maps or external portals, is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard;
- older or scanned documents may lack a text layer; where you need an accessible version, please ask us using the details below.
05Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, need information in an alternative format, or want to tell us how we can do better, we would like to hear from you. Please describe the page or task and the difficulty you had, and, where relevant, the assistive technology and browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge feedback promptly and to respond within a reasonable period.
