Inland Power Ltd.'s 63 MW circulating fluidised-bed combustion (CFBC) thermal unit at Inland Nagar, Tonagatu village, District Ramgarh, Jharkhand declared commercial operation on 21 May 2014.
The unit supplies the Jharkhand state grid under a long-term power purchase agreement with Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JBVNL). CFBC technology was chosen for its fuel flexibility and lower emissions.
